INFLUENCES PART 2

The first American comic I bought was Detective Comics #456. I may have purchased this before Captain Britain but it wasn’t as influential – although I was known to run down the street in a dark blue blanket and bat ears.
Still, there I was, a six year old boy – shocked, horrified and intrigued that a man could be kissed to death by a sexy woman in a red dress. I loved those Evel Knievel adverts too.
